Description

The Purple Mystic mushroom is believed to have originated in East Plant City, Florida, and is considered to be the most potent variety of cubensis by its cultivator, who goes by the alias “Blackd0voe”. This particular strain boasts a unique purplish-blue color that typically appears on psilocybin mushrooms when they undergo rough handling or cutting, due to a reaction with oxygen. However, the Purple Mystic was not subjected to such treatment, leading some to speculate that its vibrant hues could be due to a higher concentration of psilocybin.

Following distribution to the mycology community, this mushroom variety underwent a collective stabilization and domestication process. It quickly gained popularity for its fast-fruiting nature and prolific growth. The mushrooms have large brown caps that fade to cream as they mature, supported by long, even stems. As the veils break and spores are released, the entire canopy takes on a stunning purple tint.
